It's
a different world in these parts, to say the least. The Call to Prayer,
while only hearing it from our rooftop, was stunning. The sheer number
of locals that were out at the market tonight dancing, selling their
goods, eating street food, hanging out, and of course, partaking in
other shenanigans, was mind blowing. Passing through our local street market while it's 111°F in Marrakech; super hot.

As-salam alaykom, Morocco! You've now seen ALL of us...every square inch, thanks to a relaxing Berber experience at a Hassam. | |

It turns out that Pokemon, handmade fortune tellers and Google Translate bring the world together.
As we were eating dinner and taking part in glorious people watching, I heard THE sound... the sound of the Pokemon Go theme song. My ears perked up and my eyes caught the eyes of the shopkeeper across from us. We were instantly connected and sharing our Pokemon collection.

Another magical day. Had the chance to observe the Call to Prayer from outside a mosque, chatted with a local artist/restaurant owner about daily life in Marrakech (while waiting for the chef to return an hour and a half later), and lastly had Berber Whisky aka Mint Tea, from a rooftop terrace while watching the hustle and bustle of the night market.
