Cuba: Havana

The sights and sounds of Havana are more fascinating than I could have imagined. The city, full of 2 million people, is full of rubble and has its struggles, but the people still know how to live life. My kind of people. The glow in Havana after a hard evening rain leaves me in awe. Last night, I met a girl from South Korea for dinner, just beating the downpour. I loved the photos I gathered afterward.

Celebration I came up near the Malecon

Peso Pizza - Hawaiian $0.75. Their cheese is an acquired taste.

New fruit for me (guayaba=guava), in its many forms.

Long line for WiFi card $1 / hr

Tres Leches at a bakery near my house. $0.80

June and I eating a lobster dinner $10.

Boxing training.

Ocean + Sunset = Peace

Taxi ride in Havana to the bus station.
