Thankful to be vaccinated and able to travel again. After two flights, we finally arrived in Puerto Rico. We walked up to our car and popped the trunk, only to find luggage and people already in it...so that was fun.
We obtained a different car and made our way to the southwest coast. What should have taken a little over 2 hours, took almost double. Traffic, rain, lanes that abruptly ended, accidents, winding mountain roads, and narrow dark side roads with no lines made for an eventful welcome. In the end, we arrived safely at our hotel and ventured out to find dinner. Tacos y Medalla para mi. ¡Wepa!
First of many big trips, traveling with my buddy. |
After proceeding through a temperature check walkway and grabbing our bags, it was time to show our QR code that shows we tested negative for COVID. |
Not a fun drive through the side roads, as we got closer to our hotel. Narrow roads, some parts had no lines, and humid weather made visibility difficult. This is 30mph.
Cool temp check and hand sanitizer dispenser.
